Ingredients:
1 cup wheat flour
½ cup ghee
½ cup jaggery powder
2 tbsp almond chopped
2 tbsp cashew chopped
¼ tsp cardamom powder
Method:
In a saucepan, melt the ghee and mix in the flour.
- Maintain a low flame and steadily toss to coat the flour.
- After a little while, the starch loses weight, changes the colour slightly, and then becomes flavoursome.
- Then stir in the sliced almonds, cashew nuts, and cardamom powder. Combine thoroughly.
- Turn the heat down once the starch has altered colour and is totally roasted.
- Then stir in the jaggery powder until well merged.
- Allow the mixture to cool mildly prior to actually rolling it into a shaped ladoo form.
Serve immediately or put in a sealed jar to keep.
